Car Systems That are Worth Your Loans
In buying a car, it is usually advised for you to ditch the unnecessary features to save money. But when it comes to safety, no amount of savings can ever equal the protection of your self and loved ones during accidents and other road misfortunes. So keep that personal loan coming and keep these worthy safety features for your car.
Electronic Stability Control (ESC)
Different car manufacturers have different names for this feature. But a useful tip is to find a name which says ‘stability control’. Or better yet, research the manufacturer’s website, read through the car’s brochure, or simply ask the car sales person about this system. What ESC does is that it provides control when your car skids or swerves on the road. It has sensors which detect your steering actions providing correct brakes and engine power, thereby controlling your sudden skidding or swerving action.
Side Protection and Head Curtain Airbags
Commonly, most cars have the usual front airbags placed in front of the driver’s and passenger’s seats. But as you know, these are only helpful during front impacts. But, what about side and rollover collisions? This is where side airbags prove to be as necessary. During side collisions, passengers are greatly at risk because car doors and side panels are vulnerable to strong impacts. But having side airbags can reduce fatalities from 26 percent to 52 percent. In addition, head curtain airbags can protect your kids at the backseat during front fatal collisions.
Antilock Braking System (ABS)
On a sudden attempt to halt the car to avoid impact, you step on the brakes heavily. This causes brakes to lockup, often causing you to lose control when steering. An ABS makes sure this doesn’t happen. Even during a sudden and heavy press on the brakes, it avoids lock allowing you full control of the wheel when avoiding obstacles.
Backup Systems
If you have extra money from your auto personal loans, add a backup system for safety. This feature is responsible for sensing possible forward and blind side collisions thereby warning you of the possible dangers. It also guides you on blind spots which can cause heavy damage if you fail to give it attention.
Car safety should be on top of your priority in buying a car. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a brand new car or a used one. You can always have experts place these safety systems to ensure you and your passengers are safe during trips.
